Star Aviation Academy (SAA) is the best Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) institute for (Mechanical B1.1 and Avionics Stream B2) training. This premier AME College is located in National Capital Region (NCR) on Dwaraka Expressway. SAA was established in 2005.
The AME training provided at SAA was approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India in July 2006. Training at SAA meets International standards in accordance with norms laid down by International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Specific regulation which governs AME Training in India, CAR 147, has been modelled on European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) CAR 147. Standard of CAR 147 training in India conforms to EASA and ICAO norms.
SAA AME training facilities meet all regulatory requirements of advanced facilities, methodology and quality of training. We are the first Institute in India which was approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India to offer a two year (2400 hr) Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course in the Category B1.1 (Aeroplane Turbine) and Category B2 ( Avionics) under CAR 147 in 2018.
