Job Description

The candidate’s role will be to act as the subject matter expert for specific invoices types. They will lead a small team of AP processing staff who will support them in timely and accurate booking of invoices and completion of supplier recs. 
The role will also require the candidate to oversee supplier communication and ensure the highest quality of customer experience on day to day matters.

Accountabilities

•  Lead a small AP team to ensure operational excellence in delivery of day to day AP activities. Specific focus on supporting the productivity of AP processing team and competition of accurate and timely supplier recs. 
• •    Support AP accounting processes, ensuring books are up-to date and show accurate position. Month closing, including submission of all key schedules and vendor reconciliations must be done as per agreed time lines
• •    Act as the subject matter expert on the specific invoice area and recommend process improvement and change targeted to creating efficiency 
• •    Escalation point for low/medium level queries, with a focus on providing an excellent customer experience. 
• •    Support training and development needs for AP processors, with focus on day to day operating activities. 
• •    Alignment to wider AP team objectives and KPI’s e.g. paying suppliers on time
• •    Support timely delivery of ad-hoc reporting/MIS types requests

Education & Experience

•  Finance related Bachelor’s Degree as a minimum / Finance qualification preferable 
• •    Minimum of 4+ Years of related experience required
