Roles and Responsibilities

• Execution (Day to Day Activities):

Certification:

• Communicate technical details within certification with certification agencies
• Compiling, Reviewing, and sending necessary documentation packages to certifying bodies in compliance with certification requirements
• Draw technical reports including compilation of engineering reports from other department
• Internal compliance Check with design standards and regulations
• Performing rotor blade manufacturing audits with certifying bodies on LM manufacturing locations around the world.
• Product Qualification (PQ):
• Review customer load set (time series, markov matrices, extreme loads)
• Perform verification load calculations in LMBladed software
• Communicate status and risk internally
• Report loads assessment for internal review and external assessment.
• Work with certification body towards load approval.

Qualifications/Requirements:

·       A BE or MS/MTech degree in mechanical, Aeronautical, industrial, manufacturing engineering or similar.

·       Knowledge of certification requirements for wind turbine rotor blade.

·       Good Understanding about the wind turbine loading

·       Good understanding about rotor blade failure mode/criteria

·       Basic Understanding about the rotor blade type testing.

·       Able to perform rotor blade manufacturing audit with support

·       Knowledge on composite material.

·       Knowledge of Applied Mechanics and Strength of Materials

·       Ability to formulate the internal as well as external report

·       Pro-active Attitude and Team player

·       Effective English communication and listening skills (Oral and Written)

·       Open minded and Adapts to Customer / Business Changes

·       5+ year experience
