Job Description:
The position is responsible to ensure the strict quality compliance is maintained with the ultimate goal of Zero-defect components meeting the delivery targets
Roles and Responsibilities: Will typically include (but not restricted to),
Work closely with the design and manufacturing teams to understand raw material requirements, in-process quality requirements, product test plans and requirements
In-Process inspection of composites and metallic components including tooling
Generate and maintain Quality documents including QAPs, Dimensional inspection reports, process log sheets and in-process check lists, NDT reports, test reports etc.
Raw materials, fasteners and seals qualification and acceptance.
Raise, Maintain and follow up for closure of Non-conformance reports.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
At least 3 years of experience with a minimum 1 years of Aerospace or Defence experience in a quality engineering role
Familiarity with NDT techniques such as UT, RT, CR and experience in interpreting Radiography films
Knowledge on raw material testing standards such as ASTM/ISO for metallics and composites
Familiarity with quality acceptance standards for aerospace grade fasteners & seals desirable
Hands-on experience in the interpretation of flaws in Composites and metallics desirable
