Job Description

Job Duties:

• Perform tasks related to the development and support of Air Systems,
• Manages the technical, and schedule and personnel aspects of the Environmental Control Systems (Air Systems, Oxygen, Firex and Ice protection for the aircraft product) through all phases of design, development, certification, production, and product support. Ensures all aspects of design are compliant with the system requirements document
• Perform and coordinates the ECS project activities through all phases of design, development, certification, production, and production support (entry into service).
• Tracks and reports status of action items related to design, development, certification, and flight test related for
• Prepares and maintains regression test procedures to test the avionics/electrical power system integration of the ECS sub-systems.
• Provides technical and logistical assistance to manufacturing and flight test to resolve any technical issues associated with the ECS.
• Prepares/reviews qualification test procedures and qualification test reports associated with the ECS.
• Establishes qualification test schedules with the supplier of the ECS components and coordinates Designated Engineering Representative (DER) support.
• Reviews and coordinates complex hardware / software deliverables between the supplier, HAC and the DERs.
• May serve as the DER for the applicable delegations.
• Supports the creation of the certification plan for the ECS.
• Manages personnel by assigning and monitoring tasks so that they are done on time and are complete and accurate.
• Conducts performance evaluations for personnel and creates, implements and monitors personnel development plans
• Qualification:

BE Mechanical engineering or equivalent

• Work Experience:

Experienced Professional (10 + years) in developing ECS system for aerospace is a must
