Job Description

• Working knowledge in the set-up and configuration of Airbus’ Flysmart applications for EFB. 2. Knowledgeable on weight and balance for load and trim sheet application including AHM 560/565 data construction and reweigh calculation and validation.
• Constant monitoring and updating of airport database.
• Working knowledge on operational route studies as to aircraft performances, airport compatibility, load capacity, flight time, etc.
• Evaluate, calculate, and publish aircraft performance data such as maximum allowable take-off, cruise and landing weights using PEP program from Airbus.
• Conduct instructional training on aircraft performance and weight and balance for pilots and dispatchers.
• Plan and coordinate the Department’s activities in providing aircraft performance data required by pilots, flight dispatchers and stations personnel.
• Maintain liaison and coordination with offices within and outside the department to ensure thorough establishment of procedures.
• Undertake when directed performance flight checks to determine actual aircraft and engine performance levels.
• Recommend ideas and procedures how to help the company save fuel.
• Conduct research and evaluation of new routes as to airfield performance and payload capabilities for possible operations by the Company.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in aviation technology particularly on aircraft performance.
