Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and motivated Airport Manager in Bangladesh station who can manage third party service providers, work independently and provide leadership to Jazeera Airways airport team and ground handling agent.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Maintain or reduce cost budgets of GHA charges, landing charges and headcounts
• Achieve or exceed customer service standards and targets
• Contribute to the expenditure budgeting process, and evaluate costs and make savings..
• Ensure revenue protection considered during flight disruptions.
• Effectively balance costs and customer service.
• Maintain the company's corporate image and ensure correct uniform standards.
• Monitor and supervise all GHA's activities before, during and after each flight and ensure
• that they meet SLA targets.
• Be aware of station baggage performance and improvements required.
• Ensure an efficient baggage claims process.
• Monitor World tracer performance to ensure customers satisfaction.
• Maintain focus on immigration requirements.

Safety and Security:

• Hold emergency exercises at least twice yearly, and contribute to emergency exercises held
• by airport authorities.
• Regularly discuss safety and security with the team, GHAs and airport authorities.
• Demonstrate a good working knowledge of Load Control.
• Regularly coach team and GHAs regarding safety on the ramp.
• Have a clear understanding of operational safety.
• Ensure passenger documents and baggage reconciliations for all flights.
• Managing and Developing Customers and Third Parties
• Work closely with GHA to identify loyal customers.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with GHA, airport authorities. Civil Aviation and
• other third party suppliers.
• Hold periodical meetings with own team, GHA management and other airport officials to
• develop service partnering concept.
• Meet and freely interact with staff of GHA, airport authorities and other service providers.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3 years in Airport Management or similar supervisory position
• Speak Bengali language
• Excellent working knowledge of airport operations
• Understand budget, financial process and business cases
