Job Description



You will support the operation by managing the overall control of the shift while providing a five star service at the airport terminal and creating an enjoyable airport environment for customers whilst travelling. You will also be responsible to track the activities of the sections at the airport and liaising with other airport authorities while ensuring a quality service and adherence to safety policies and security standards.

Specific accountabilities include:

Ensures passengers are assisted smoothly through airport facilities
Performs other related duties for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
Aware of airport operations and can deputize as an Airport Services Manager
Can process data and provide management with solutions
Supervises and leads GHA staff during all flights to ensure QR standards of service quality is maintained
Manage the day-to-day operations and act as liaison between airport service providers, and users including airport authorities.
Provide input and recommendations to management to improve the effectiveness of the daily operations.
Manage and liaise with manpower on the shift in order to optimize utilization and to maintain staff’s morale and discipline.
Conduct spot-checks on to ensure adequate standards are maintained.
Responsible to resolve customer problems and complaints effectively liaising on a daily basis with all departments including Customer Relations to provide resolution for complaint handling.
Conduct briefing sessions for shift and GHA supervisors on a shift basis.
Compiles a detailed station handling report for Airport Duty Manager on a shift basis.
Petty Cash Custodianship, delegates duties to subordinates, monthly statistics and using Microsoft suites in an effective way to provide data to management in a clear way with solutions.
Responsible to prepare monthly reports and LPC’s.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a bachelors degree combined with a minimum of four years of experience in a similar customer-facing role within the airport environment. Knowledge of airport functions including passenger and baggage handling, Weight and Balance, and Dangerous Goods Regulations is required.

Ability to work shifts, including weekends, is essential.

You must also have the right to live and work in India to be considered for this role.
