Insourced and Outsourced Engine Analyst: This position will support both the engines we work in the San Francisco Maintenance Base (SFMB) as well as the ones we outsource to other vendors. Ownership for repair supplier performance in specific subject areas to ensure that they are delivering what is required against repair agreements. Responsible for all price adjustments, supply chain issues, maintenance program compliance and project support for their specific suppliers/PCNs. Supports the development and negotiation of contracts with vendors; providing day to day management of specific vendor relationships as required. Monitors supplier contractual compliance and ensures that suppliers are delivering and invoicing as promised. Ensures resolution of problems related to supplier administration. Plans and coordinates supplier transitions; ensures effective data integration occurs. Keeps current on regulatory and industry issues that may impact supplier systems and operations.
Manage negotiations of quotes/invoices on individual repair orders against contract pricing. Including unit rate monitoring and trend analysis
Process price adjustment requests from supplier to comply with agreements/Contracts and maintenance direction
Resolution of accounting payment mismatches and supplier receivable resolution requests
Support piece part requirements at suppliers including payment/credits, if needed, to support the repair cycle
Monitor and control turn-time at supplier to ensure optimal spares support and identify changes in stock requirements or obsolescence of material
Monitor and notify customers of chronic units including Bad from Stock and manage corrective action responses
Participate in and support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key suppliers
Support the business team for accurate financial planning and analysis, including monthly budget close meetings and forecasts
Technical review and analysis of current maintenance program requirements as well as modeling impact of potential maintenance program changes to support Engineering, VM, and Finance
Successfully support United's quality, financial, and operational requirements at best cost within budget

Required
Bachelor's degree required
At least 2 years of supplier management, analysis work, project experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Vendor or Supplier Management
Ability to structure an analytical problem and apply data to make operational recommendations
Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
