Technical Operations/Maintenance

Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.

Job overview and responsibilities

This position will help the Technical Services teams achieve their operational goals by applying a wide array of skills, including but not limited to: data analysis, reporting, predictive analytics, project management. The position will work closely with stakeholders from each group and provide support on various projects. They will also manager team specific dashboards based on their reporting structure.

  • Process and follow through on dashboards per business need    
  • Create datasets and present actionable insights
  • Learn and develop skills to use and manipulate an array of United data bases
  • Partner with senior colleagues on analysis to gain airline/aircraft knowledge
  • Weekly and monthly productivity reports

  This position is offered on local terms and conditions.  Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Data Science
  • Data analytics (modeling, predictive, etc.)
  • 2-4 years job experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365
  • Python/SQL/ Excel knowledge
  • Ability to work in large databases. Ability to analyze large amounts of data to provide business insights.
  • English
