Job Description

Technical Operations/Maintenance

Technical Operations includes the maintenance and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.

Job overview and responsibilities

Technical Operations supply chain deliveries career opportunities where planning, operations and finance intersect. Working together, our group strives to operate a fully integrated supply chain that is dependable, efficient and resourceful in support of the Company's aircraft maintenance goals. Asset verification is a process of validating the accounting for inventory ownership. Discrepancies are identified, corrected and reported. Position works with internal and external auditors as required to satisfy SOX requirements.

  • Responsible for all post-physical inventory tasks: Reconcile all data, resolve issues with transactional discipline and historical reports, manage the approval process, communicate to the appropriate customers and book all transactions for visibility
  • Utilize new and legacy company systems to complete tasks
  • Responsible for all pre-physical inventory tasks: Select part control number (PCN) based on WHQAY list (mandated), production and inventory planning requests
  • Compile the initial pre-physical inventory paper package documents to supports
  • Utilize new and legacy company systems to complete tasks
  • Review existing reports, dashboards and performance indicators to modify, enhance and develop new reports and metrics
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on operational performance to team leaders
  • Support in developing and driving process improvements and best practices via use of technology

This position is offered on local terms and conditions.  Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Required 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ experience in fields of supply chain
  • 2+ years auditing or analytical experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to summarize and visualize data (i.e., Spotfire, Tableau)
  • High competency in SQL system
  • Understanding of relational database structures
  • Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • 2+ experience in airline or manufacturing industry
  • Understanding of airline operations, supply chain and inventory planning
