Job Description

Educational Qualifications         

  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in airline related communication, advertising agency or in-house creative department
  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus Or, a college diploma in any discipline with 8 years of relevant experience

Skills/Knowledge           

  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic
  • Proven graphic design experience
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other artwork
  • Solid understanding of design software and technologies (Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
  • A good eye for aesthetics and details
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

Job Description               

  • Create and design various material for print and digital collateral these include:

Logos Brandbook and visual identity

Social media artwork and templates

  • Ensure that design projects meet with Oman Air brand completed with high quality and on schedule
  • Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
  • Perform retouching and manipulation of images
  • Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
  • Create visual concepts by hand and using software like ADOBE CC and its alike.
  • Ensure to document all design briefs and requirements.
  • Maintain the library and archive of official, approved and reference digital designs and brand assets.
  • Incorporate all concepts from stakeholders in creating new product concepts, marketing and brand collateral.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders and create product concepts, brand and marketing collaterals, images, visuals for use network-wide, per region, per season, etc
  • Review, edit and proofread all designs for errors and brand consistency.
  • Ensure all digital templates are up-to-date, fresh and are in sync with brand image and marketing strategies.
  • Present to line manager and or other stakeholders and designs and seek approval.
  • Ensure that all creative outputs are original and follow the digital protection law with no copyright infringements.
  • Work with other digital designers in creating and editing images.
  • Assist in any other responsibility assigned by the line manager or department head.
  • Accept any additional responsibilities assigned by the Senior Brand Manager and VP Marketing
