Responsibilities

Contracts and Invoicing

• Participate in whole life-cycle management of contracted services, from outsourcing, request for proposal, evaluation and negotiations, to contract execution with supplier and vendors for the award of new contracts and amendments
• Oversee and manage vendors on fulfilment of day-to-day contractual obligations, service level agreement compliance and compensation
• Ensure compliance with Scoot procurement policies and procedures
• Presentation to senior management on the evaluation and recommendations for the award of each contract
• Work closely with other Engineering sections to ensure contractual obligations are met and timely dissemination of information to internal stakeholders

Warranty Management

• To provide oversight on warranty claims process from service providers
• Administer out of scope warranty claims on aircraft fleet
• Maintaining components warranty records ensuring proper claims on parts
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders for warranty investigations

Insurance Management

• Point of contact for aircraft insurance for engineering events and related projects
• Submitting insurance notifications and following up on insurance claims
• Building of insurance case for complete submission
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders for insurance investigation and data collection

Cost and Budgeting

• Oversees Engineering department’s budget and cost accruals
• Extract, consolidate and analyse department’s cost data for cost savings opportunities
• Active participation in technical/ cost savings projects to optimise operating costs
• Contributes to cost savings initiatives, review of outsourcing activities

Logistical Support

• Assist in spares provisioning strategy
• Backup for purchase and repair order creation in Netsuite system

Requirements

• Diploma/ Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/ Electronic or Mechanical/ Aeronautical with 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience (in an Aviation/ MRO/ Aviation Service Provider organisation)
• Preferably with knowledge of commercial aircraft operations and contracts
• Prior experience in aviation warranty, insurance management
• Basic knowledge in finance and costing
• Strong organisation skills, self-disciplined and meticulous
• Resourceful to engage various different parties to gather and consolidate required information
• Dependable, team oriented, and able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both oral and written English
