Job Description


We are searching for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager, Sales Planning (Channel Strategies) ! You will be part of the Sales Planning team, to strategize and lead initiatives with both Sales and Marketing teams towards meeting revenue targets. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across Scoot Commercial teams, as well as, external stakeholders such as online and offline Trade Partners, to drive sales across various distribution channels at the most cost efficient manner.

This role is responsible for supporting the operations for our Sales team.

Key responsibilities includes:
  • (1) Planning and strategizing to guide Sales and Marketing teams towards maximizing revenue at the lowest cost of sales;
  • (2) Develop strategies by market, point-of-sale and distribution channels;
  • (3) Monitor sales performances and steer demand traffic (including OD) to meet overall target through inventory allocation
  • (4) Track performance metrics across sales channels to track demand, conversion and return-of-investment
  • (5) Timely management reporting and data-driven studies to help drive strategic decisions;
  • (6) Provide market insights and monitor competitors initiatives to identify sales opportunities.
  • (7) Collaboration with key Commercial departments to ensure that scare resources invested (e.g. Trade and Marketing budgets) are optimized and targeted. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business / Data Analytics / Statistics preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in commercial portfolio; preferably in Sales and/or Marketing with experience in Scoot's key markets
  • Comfortable working with data sets to analyze and present findings in detail
  • Self-starter, excellent communicator and strong team player
  • Strong analytical and operational skills, with keen commercial acumen to pursue sales opportunities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint; experience with Qliksense/Tableau/Google Analytics preferred
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize while meeting deadlines
  • Strong customer management skills to provide excellent service support to trade partners
  • Strong project management skills to manage and lead intra or inter-department projects
