Job Description

  • Assist Audit Manager/QM in implementing internal quality audit programme to achieve continuing airworthiness quality policy objectives.
  • Plan and Prepare forecast of monthly schedule of internal quality audit programme in reference to approved annual quality audit plan.
  • Continually undertake revision review and/or development of various ‘audit specialty area checklist’ , to ensure that the check points broadly covers the following
  • All regulatory airworthiness requirements;
  • Established company standards/quality system requirements (Company manuals);
  • Any new development in the regulation and/or organization policies, procedures and practices; and,
  • Any significant findings identified during ongoing audits.
  • Write clear, concise audit report and non-conformity report (NCR) on the basis of audit findings/report submitted by auditor(s) on completion of each audit.
  • Ensure audit report and associated NCRs raised by auditor are promptly communicated to the attention of person/department concerned through designated reporting channel and appraise QM on the same.
  • Perform Necessary follow up work as necessary subsequent to audit(s) till closure of each audit.
  • Assist Audit Manager in evaluating Action Taken Reports (ATR) to verify effectiveness of remedial action plans and implementation by auditee. Follow up, if evaluations result found unsatisfactory to ensure closure of the audit findings to as satisfactory conclusions.
  • Monitor audit reports and results to identify any weak areas requiring more frequent audit/training or any other measure for improvements and provide a constructive feedback to audit manager and QM for their consideration.
  • Continually track and review the conduct of internal quality audit, to ensure that audits are carried out in a timely manner and closed within targeted timeframe to satisfy established requirements. Update Audit manager and QM on any shortcomings
  • Assist QM in review of organizational quality audit policies, procedures and practices annually or as and when deemed necessary.
  • Develop improvement plans to enhance effectiveness of Quality Assurance Programme and improve data management oversight.
  • Work with Manager Flight Safety as and when required for associating with internal Flight Safety Audits.
  • Any other activity as required by QM.
