Revenue Management

The Pricing and Revenue Management department helps us run a successful business by predicting consumer demand and setting up pricing structures.

Job overview and responsibilities

United's Revenue Strategy team is responsible for tracking, analyzing and forecasting the company’s Passenger Revenue of the company. The team produces various high visibility reports that go out directly to the E-team and RM leaders, provides recurrent analytical support, and performs revenue-related exploratory and advanced analyses to facilitate key decisions.

  • Support ad-hoc analysis of complex data and make recommendations for action
  • Develop insightful reporting packages and presentations that summarize data and help facilitate decision-making for our business partners and senior leadership team
  • Develop and enhance revenue transparency reports and data collection processes
  • Innovate automation functionality for existing reporting frameworks

This position is offered on local terms and conditions.  Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Required 

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field like Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
  • 0-1 years of experience in analytics/ reporting required
  • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
  • Ability to analyze and summarize main points from unstructured data sources
  • Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • Master's Degree in a quantitative field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in analytics/ reporting required
  • Experience in design thinking, presentations building and distribution automation
  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage) and experience with applications
