Boeing India Pvt Ltd is currently looking for Associate Process Engineer to join their Process & Tools team in Bangalore, India.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for activities involving Process development, Process Implementation and Process deployment.

  • Responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the Tools processing and baseline management.
  • Focused on improving processes and managing process change management as needed.
  • Provides technical guidance on processes for alignment to engineering team.
  • Work independently within a team environment to manage the Software processes.
  • Support process deployment to PDM by engaging with internal stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Track new capability requests & upgrade requests and collaborate with Product Lines, Tools Lead and IT for a timely closure of all such requests.
  • Work with Tools Lead, IT Business Partner and Product Lines for tool upgrades and obsolescence
  • Maintain information on license expiration to renew them proactively without causing work stoppage.
  • Strictly adhere to all the export control regulations specified by the Global Trade Control team.
  • Track metrics related to tools access, new tool requests and any issues pertaining to tools periodically and present to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Work with Product Line Tools Focal to gather current and future license requirements.
  • Support Product Line engineers to configure tools
  • Maintain tool installation and configuration documents in Confluence.
  • Act as SPOC for all tools related support.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance and IT teams to procure and deploy the requested tools.
  • Work with Tools Lead to align tools with approved list of tools and plan for future requirement as per the tools strategy.
  • Coordinates with teams to resolve complex issues related to processes, tools and environments.
  • Maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Experience with producing engineering metrics and reports.
  • Experience working in agile environment.
  • Knowledge of the tool set – DOORS, Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence etc.) will be an added advantage.
  • In depth understanding of baseline and change management processes.
  • Experience in supporting engineering organizations and prepare data for engineering/program releases.
  • Experience with software engineering languages and software development life-cycle process
  • Knowledge of Agile practices and Agile methodologies like SCRUM, Kanban.

Education & Experience:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Computers, Aerospace engineering or equivalent discipline with a minimum of 5+ years of work related experience in aerospace engineering domain particularly pertaining to hardware development projects
