Position Overview:

Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supplier Management team is currently looking for Associate Procurement Agents- BGS to join their team in Bangalore, India and support Boeing Global Services’ growing Commercial Modifications and Boeing Converted Freighter businesses.  The PA’s would be responsible for managing assigned suppliers’ operational performance across the interiors, avionics, connectivity, structural and airplane system commodities in support of customer programs.  Ideal candidates will have demonstrated competency and experience in production/manufacturing environments as well as supplier/customer support. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support non-standard working hour meetings/phone calls as required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with ERP
  • Management of an assigned supplier package to include the following tasks:
    • Release of Purchase Orders (POs)
    • Manage Purchase Order Changes (POCs)
    • Routine engagement with suppliers to ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD) of POs
    • Data entry into web-based systems
    • Supplier risk and issue identification and management
    • Development and Management of supplier Recovery plans
    • Supplier performance Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to mitigate part shortages
    • Coordinate with appropriate assigned Boeing Procurement Agent (PA)
    • Weekly supplier follow-up and open order report meetings
    • Attend supplier program management review meetings as required
  • Coordinate with warehouse receiving team to process part NCRs and griefs
  • Attend organizational Gemba and staff meetings
  • Contribute to organizational strategic processes/projects
  • Ownership and management of organizational processes and checklists
  • Work closely with US-based Procurement Agents to support Suppler Management which include supplier negotiations, sourcing, contract execution, development and performance management.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office – Proficient excel
  • Flexible and be willing to work under pressure to meet the project needs/deadlines
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders/vendors (desirable)
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English is a must
  • Proven Vendor Management, process management and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience with Global Finance Support Organization is strongly desired

Typical Education & Experience:

Typically, 5-8 years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (eg. bachelor, master, etc) preferred but not required.
