Human Resources

The Human Resources team helps attract and recruit diverse talent, and works to provide employees with competitive benefits, leadership resources and the support to be successful at United.

Job overview and responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of a full spectrum of HR functions including onboarding, compensation and benefits, employee relations and other corporate programs
  • Provide assistance and guidance to the employees and leaders in the interpretation of policies, local law work rules and procedures to assure consistent application
  • Will also have the overall responsibility for administration of HR programs
  • Provide operational/administrative HR support as required to employees and leaders. These duties include but are not limited to; the coordination and administration of internal movements, organizational changes, employee exit, data and employee record maintenance
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Provides support to special projects and other initiatives (e.g. employee engagement, performance management, hiring and retention initiatives)
  • Build strong relationships with leaders by helping the organization to scale and retain talent
  • Manage Employee Time and Attendance system
  • Acts as point of contact for employees and leaders on queries related to eTA
  • Actively identifies gaps, proposes improvement initiatives and implement changes to drive operational excellence

This position is offered on local terms and conditions.  Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Required 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR operations
  • Good analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English (both written and oral)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • Master's degree
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
  • Knowledge in local labor laws
