Boeing Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) team is currently looking for Airplane Systems engineers to join their team in Bangalore, India. These positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) business organization.  As a member of this SEIT team, you will be responsible for System development of high-integrity Airplane systems; Aircraft Systems Development (ARP4754A), Safety Assessment Processes of ARP4761 & certification (DO-178 C); Validation & Verification and traceability of Tier 2-5 Requirements. Also, you will be responsible for Systems design, system level requirements development, Decomposing system requirements to lower level requirements, hardware/Software unit level testing, integration testing, and support FAA certification  


Position Responsibilities:

  • Should perform or able to Review System level ARP4754/DO178C compliant System level testing
  • Perform Requirements Management in DOORS
  • End to End Requirement simulation, modeling and validation using MATLab, Simulink & Cameo
  • Leads projects or initiatives at the direction of Talent Acquisition Leadership to implement process improvements
  • Resolves program technical issues.
  • Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
  • Demonstrates the Boeing Behaviors in a deliberate and observable way

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors/Master Engineering degree, Preferably Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science / Aerospace Engineering
  • Up to 3 years related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Capable of reviewing system requirements for high-integrity Airplane systems; Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) development & certification
  • Good understanding of DO 254/DO178C standards preferred
  • Knowledge in ARP 4754A, ARP 4761, DO 160 Standards / MIL STD 704 & MIL STD 461 requirement preferred
  • Familiarity with Agile Development, and JIRA tool
  • Hands on Experience on IBM Rational DOORS in Requirements Management is required
  • Strong Written, verbal communication with engineers, management, and non-engineering support staff
  • Ability to work in a virtual team environment
  • INCOSE certification on Systems Engineering is an added advantage

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

Typical Education & Experience:


Bachelors Engineering degree, Preferably Electronics/Aeronautical/Electrical / Systems Engineering and typically 0 - 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master 1+ years' of related work experience etc.).
