Job Description

The incumbent shall be responsible for day to day functioning of AMOS within E & M. The job requires monitoring and control of AMOS and swift resolution of the users’ issues.

Key Responsibilities

• AMOS administration control and monitoring
• Monitoring AMOS for the correctness of the database and correction as necessary
• Train and instruct users w.r.t. specific day-to-day AMOS related issues and take corrective action as necessary
• Monitor, identify and resolve problems related to access and security in AMOS modules
• Implementing best practices and fully utilizing AMOS system capabilities
• Coordinate with E&M team in business process improvements through AMOS modules
• Coordinate with SWISS for release of versions, ensure issues are addressed, verification of the version in TEST and release. Communicate to the users on the version release and the highlights
• User management such as new user creation, deletion as necessary and access rights control as per the laid down procedure

• Coordinate with IT for any technical and compliance issues
• Coordinate with IT and the users for support in case of any disaster or patch deployment activity
• Ensuring back up of the system as per the procedure and requirements
• Introduction and definition of new aircraft in AMOS
• Definition of AMP and its revisions in AMOS. Coordinate with Planning team for the implementation
• Increase utilization of AMOS by adding more engineering business processes into AMOS
• Coordinate with SWISS for any issues related to AMOS and effective resolution
• Providing different reports as required from time to time
• Other tasks as required by the Reporting Manager

Skills/Attributes

• Broad knowledge of AMOS
• Good knowledge on various engineering processes and workflows
• Basic working skill in MS Office including MS Excel and PowerPoint

Work Experience

• 8 years of experience in aviation with minimum 3 years of experience in Engineering on AMOS system or other airlines MRO software. Experience as an AMOS administrator preferred

Qualification

• Degree/ Diploma in Computer/Electronics/Electrical engineering
