PLM Physical product & operations team within IM GIC india is responsible for working with PLM tools and, the PLM Operational Support Community provides services which enable end-users (internal and suppliers) to efficiently use deployed Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) solutions on a day-to-day basis and to facilitate the security as well as the quality of data generated and modified with these solutions.

PLM Physical product & operations in AIRBUS focuses on supporting all solutions used for the conception and development of Aircraft.

1. Engineering graduate with 3-6 years of functional experience in Airbus PLM applications.
2. Functional Knowledge on Product Data Management (Product Structure, Release Process, Change management, BOM, etc.) on Single aisle/A350/A380 programs.
3. Hands-on experience of PLM applications (such as Windchill, Enovia VPM, CADINT etc.) and good understanding of configuration management, Digital Mock Up principle.
4. Excellent knowledge of Airbus specific Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Applications (PASS/PDMLink, CADINT, VPM, CATIA V5, APS etc.).
5. Working knowledge of legacy applications like DPDS, TAKSY, GILDA, Optegra would be an added advantage.
6. Complex problem analysis, ability to diagnose, formalize, reproduce & address application issues.
7. Individual & proactive Way of Working. Experienced in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, adaptation and learning of the business processes & speak to the customer especially around AIRBUS PLM application.
8. Autonomy with excellent communication skills to work in a multi-functional and distributed team
9. Experienced in working within a product delivery lifecycle.
10. Awareness on Agile/Scrum methods followed in software development.
11. Knowledge of SQL and relational databases concepts for data analysis

Responsibilities:

Translates the business needs into IT requirements and proactively identify opportunities for business transformation or improvement enabled by technology. Develops a solid understanding of the customer's existing business and business processes ideally end-to-end, the key drivers and measures of success for the business, and the short- and long-term direction of the business and related technologies. Formulates functional and nonfunctional requirements of the business organisation and advises on the lifecycle of the information solutions. Evaluates the impact in terms of change management. Collaborates with the IT Product Manager while ensuring that the developed solutions are inline with evolving customer needs.

• Proactive in business needs capturing, challenge and providing inputs for formalization into features.
• Define Concept solution for the business requirements and write/update concept phase dossiers (CPD)
• Write/Update functional specification dossiers for applications that will be used by the development team.
• Raise and maintain the awareness and knowledge of PDM Applications and related methods
• Master existing AIRBUS PLM solutions and IT platforms.
• His/her primary functions are to investigate and analyse various behaviours of PLM applications, propose improvement process/ work around methods for an optimized solution on the application.
• Identify, assess risks and opportunities in his/her area of duty. He/she identifies and prioritizes events that might negatively/positively affect the programm / process/ function objectives and he/she categorizes them. He/she takes corrective and preventive actions accordingly.
• Write/Update Test script for test campaigns on the application.
• Performing End to End functional testing on multiple PLM applications and identifying/analyzing the errors.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Prepare Quick PoC (Proof of Concept) or a solution proposal for the Business.
• Support the application performance improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills to work in a globally distributed team

• Configuration tools and effectivity calculation process, PASS CI-LO-DS solutions plus knowledge on Lean PLM SA solution.
• Engineering process support and be able to back up with Engineering process documentation and identify IT involvement boundary with Engineering decisions.
