The Boeing Company is looking for a highly motivated Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to join the Information Security (IS) team that has responsibility for leading best cybersecurity practices for their assigned region.  Based out of Dubai (Riyadh or Istanbul) the Business Information Security Officer (BISO) will serve as the primary point of contact between the cybersecurity function and their assigned business unit(s), region, service line, platforms(s), and/or corporate function. The BISO is responsible for maintaining a strategic relationship with the specific business unit or function that they are aligned to. This is done to ensure that cybersecurity is incorporated into the culture of the enterprise/organization/business unit in question.

Position Responsibilities

• Work closely with Information Security, regional leaders, IT Project Managers, Business Partners, Architecture, Network, IT Support Team and project teams for thorough understanding of business and enterprise requirements, and coordinate business enabling solutions.
• Work and bridge communication gaps between cross-functional teams, providing Information Security guidance as appropriate
• Share knowledge and expertise of in-country (or regional) cybersecurity policy and regulatory environment with key stakeholders
• Support the Enterprise in maintaining cybersecurity hygiene and seek opportunities to enhance and improve security of Information
• Provide senior in-country leadership with accurate assessments of our security posture and progress on industry standard frameworks on an ongoing basis.
• Educate stakeholders on cybersecurity-related matters in an effort to increase awareness and improve culture

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 8+ years of cybersecurity risk management, governance, and regulatory experience
• 8+ years of cybersecurity work experience with multinational enterprises.
• 5+ years of project management, team lead experience
• English fluency with superior communications skills - additional languages are a plus

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Familiarity with USA Department of Defense cybersecurity regulatory requirements.
• Work experience with Aerospace and Defense products involving Engineering and IT functions.
• Knowledge of security frameworks
• Experience with security assessments

Typical Education & Experience:

Typically 10 or more years' related work experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Dubai, UAE (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia or Istanbul, Turkey). Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll, and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and be in accordance with applicable UAE law (Saudi Arabia law or Turkey law). Employment is subject to the candidate’s ability to satisfy all UAE (Saudi Arabia or Turkey) labor and immigration formalities.
