A fantastic opportunity exists to join our ever-expanding London City team of Cabin Crew where you will deliver outstanding customer service. BA CityFlyer is a wholly owned subsidiary of British Airways.

Principal Accountabilities

  • To ensure operational safety, security and health and safety responsibilities are performed to the highest standards and are compliant with EASA, British Airways CityFlyer requirements and all other relevant legislation
  • Maintain safety compliance at all times with Safety & Equipment Procedures (recency) trainin
  • Deliver world-class service excellence in line with our service standards and behaviours
  • To ensure compliance with all corporate policies and procedures in accordance with relevant legislation
  • To act as a British Airways CityFlyer role model to crew, colleagues and customers adhering to our uniform standards
  • To build effective working relationships with colleagues and service partners to work as one tea
  • To deliver the crew objectives set by the business

Qualifications (Essential or desirable)

  • To be aged 18 or over at time of application
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably within the hospitality and travel industry
  • Hold a valid passport (with minimum of 12 months before expiry date) with the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK and which allows unrestricted global travel
  • To undergo a Criminal Record Check for all countries of residence for six months or more in the previous five years and be able to provide satisfactory references for the last five years

  • BA London City crew operate as BA CityFlyer (a wholly owned subsidiary of British Airways) to provide exceptional service to a mixture of business and leisure customers that fly into the niche market of London City (LCY) Airport, and beyond into Europe.

What you can expect

  • Operating as part of a small and friendly team, you will really get to know your colleagues and customers. We are also open to discussing flexible working opportunities from day one.
  • Starting salary will be £17,258 per annum(made up of £15,152 basic salary plus an additional £2,106 London allowance, which is a non-pensionable). This salary progresses on an incremental scale and you will also receive an hourly payment when flying.
  • There will be potential to earn a Company performance bonus, and commission.
  • Working to a roster pattern, some days may be longer and busier than others. You will be prepared to adapt to change and always have the customer experience at the forefront of your mind.
