As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Cargo Business & Analytics Team in Doha as a Cargo Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager. The role includes:

• Supporting the development of strategy and roadmap for data quality and data analytics, data modelling, reporting, business intelligence and development of sophisticated decision support tools for Cargo Department.
• Providing advice on the configuration, functionality, applicability, and usability of data management, data analytics and data visualization technology solutions.
• Adapting and developing short and medium term strategy and programs for Cargo Business Intelligence Team in line with the overall QR Cargo strategy.
• Overseeing the accuracy of all regular and ad hoc reports/ dashboards for the Management.
• Identifying and facilitating Market Intelligence data (new or enhanced tools from WorldACD, CASS) for Cargo users which enables them to benchmark QR’s pricing and load factor with other airlines.
• Managing the team of Analysts- effectively leading, managing, coaching, and developing them
• Establishing the department or team’s objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.

Qualifications

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Business Statistics, Economics or similar field with minimum of 7 years relevant experience preferably within the airline industry
• Proven leadership in driving Business Intelligence and Data Analytics
• Proficiency in SQL and building dashboards using BI tools like Tableau and PowerBI
• High level of MS Office tools (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Business Objects knowledge
• Good data analysis skills to investigate data issues in reports and dashboards to find the root cause and provide solutions
• Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow
• Fluency in written and spoken English
