Job Description

You will be responsible for cargo handling tasks within any of QAS cargo internal /external terminal (s) facilities, ramp and cargo aircraft’s activities, includes and not limited to build-up, breakdown, delivery and customer service related issues.
Perform assigned tasks inline with company standard operating procedures, safety, security and specific airline (s) procedures
Retrieve, store cargo with particular emphasis on the best practice handling of Dangerous Goods, valuables, Perishables, Courier, Live Animals, Diplomatic Mail.
Managing floor location (s).
Quick Ramp Transfer Cargo product is handled in a timely manner whilst report irregularities.
Communicate between cargo and airside loading team.
Cargo inventory is accurately completed and updated in system.
Usage of Hand Held scanner to record Unit / shipment Movement to/from cargo facilities.
Attend all trainings that are made available by the company
Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualifications
About you:
An ideal candidate will have:
High School Qualification (e.g. O level, Year 10, min compulsory education).
Up to 2 years of job-related experience required.
Command over English language
Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
Knowledge of Cargo or Logistic Handling
Computer and System literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office
