Job Description

In this role, you will manage all projects related to the CROAMIS application in coordination with Qatar Airways Cargo’s global network and internal stakeholders. You will also manage and maintain centrally the overall cargo systems and support digital transformation within QR Cargo.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure all enhancement requests follow the Product Development Guidelines and QR Cargo Processes for streamlined operations.
  • Develop adequate preventive steps to reduce defects and system issues.
  • Integrate case data with AI tools to analyse root cause and take preventive measures
  • Ensure team is adequately equipped to support the network on the system.
  • Monitor and ensure system defects are recorded and resolved within SLA, with proper documentation and analysis for smooth functioning of the system.
  • Manage the User Acceptance Testing phase of Production Promotes to ensure system compliance as per team
  • Perform business analysis and process mapping activities to suggest best possible solutions to the team.
  • Ensure all new station setup and new customs interface are implemented in time to avoid fines and penalties during
  • Ensure the cargo system’s performance is as per the agreed KPIs
  • Governance with the service providers to ensure the SLAs and KPIs are met

Qualifications

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant technical experience within the airline industry providing system development and support
  • Good understanding of airline commercial and operational processes including Reservations, Revenue Management and Pricing
  • Strong project management experience
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to delegate work set clear direction, and manage workflow
  • Ability and dedication to work with data, drive digitization and innovation and promote change management
