Job Description

Plan, direct and manage all purchasing activities under category of responsibility delivering efficient and reliable execution of all processes and systems for sourcing execution, buying, PO processing, contract administration including but not limited to low value procurement channels - delivered in line with Etihad governance, policy and compliance requirements striving towards best value for money results in a timely manner using modern procurement methods.

Accountabilities

• Perform support to Category Managers for sourcing execution activities through the full execution lifecycles, eg Requirements Definition, RFI/RFP, Award, Contracts and related activities, using good practices – eg Auctions – where appropriate.
• Liaison with Accounts Payable to address any related payment issues.
• Performs post contract administration including contract consumption tracking & reporting, and where appropriate capturing Contract / Supplier performance for use by Insights and Category Managers.
• Performs efficient, timely and reliable Purchase Requisition (PR) conversion to Purchase Orders (PO)
• Performs the delivery of the ‘end to end’ procurement operations, administration and support, ensuring alignment with PSM policies, process and governance, including contract administration and document management, ensuring correct templates are used and Ariba functionality and reporting is executed correctly.
• Performs/supports tactical and low value procurement and set-up and use of service channels; sourcing via P-Cards and managed catalogues, guided buying from master service agreements, responsible for the process, governance and systems for these channels in order to reduce effort, ensure compliance and improve service to End Users.

Education & Experience

• Diploma level qualification
• Good knowledge of MS products and excellent analytical skills are desired.
• Experience in P2P and use of tools such as SAP and Ariba preferred
• Minimum 3 years Procurement Operation and Sourcing experience in a large catering company, preferably with a flight caterer.
