Job Description

About the role :

As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition through :-

• Leading a team and collaboration with other teams to plan and undertake all preventive/corrective maintenance and improvement works in order to ensure that the facilities and civil asset are in an immaculate condition with minimum disruption to the operations.
• Supporting a variety of projects with the knowledge of facilities, design input and stakeholder management.
• Being the subject matter expert in civil and structural related subjects and advises management on technical matters.
• Applying technical expertise in collaboration with teams across the airport to ensure optimal performance of civil assets in facilities across the airport under the auspices of MATAR FM.
• Planning, monitoring, delegating and supervising the preventive / corrective maintenance programs  for all civil assets and ensure that these are implemented in accordance with statutory requirements, Standards and Recommended Practices (SARP’s)  and in compliance to company policy (SOP).
• Monitoring contractor’s performance through reviewing  of quality audits, resource  utilization data, preventative maintenance plans, procedures, checklists and asset lists for asset performance improvement in order to ensure all tasks are attended to in a timely manner and within the stipulated KPI’s.
• Performing site investigations and provide technical solutions to engineering  issues or concerns in order to resolve / mitigate the problem and ensure optimum operation effectiveness and reliability of assets.
• Contributing to HIA Asset Management System by ensuring maintenance requirements for civil assets align with AMS Framework.
• Providing technical input and feedback to project design reviews and through this, to ensure that system specification, material choice and installation design is commensurate with experienced lessons learned and from an effective maintenance perspective.

Qualifications

About you:-

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum 6 years of job –related experience
• Previous work experience in complex and demanding environment
• Should have good exposure and working knowledge in technical field and civil & airfield maintenance
• Experience engaging with multiple stakeholder at any given time.
• Sound theoretical and practical knowledge  of all civil, structure, drainage, roads, bridges, geotechnical  and sewerage systems
