Job Description

Handle Rewards operations in Singapore such as payroll processing and related Compensation & Benefits operations.

Job Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits operations:

  • Support the Rewards Team Lead in reviewing the current operations processes (e.g. Payroll)
  • Kept abreast on the updates of relevant government bodies and legislations such as Central Provision Fund (CPF), Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) etc.
  • Interacts and collaborate with HRBPs when required
  • Interact with government agencies when required
  • Handle all Governmental claims submission (e.g. NS, Maternity, Childcare and Hospitalization Leave etc.) and act as expert to advise on such topics
  • Ensure timely addition and deletion of members to insurance census lists
  • Support the Rewards Team Lead in conducting annual salary benchmark exercises with external consultancy firms
  • Ensure on time  payroll processing on a monthly basis
  • Perform payroll quality check before final review by the Rewards Team Lead
  • Creation & update  of  new employees details in the HRIS system and uploading of relevant e-documents (e.g. employment contract etc.) to employee E-Personnel file
  • Liaise with third party payroll provider when needed
  • Ensure on time Income Tax submission on a yearly basis
  • Act as expert and advise on income tax, hypothetical tax and social contribution topics
  • Support on job evaluation and job grading exercise
  • Any ad hoc tasks and projects when necessary

Work Pass Applications:

  • Handle work pass applications such as Employment Pass/S Pass, Dependant Pass etc.
  • Handle work pass appeal cases (when necessary) with the support of HRBPs
  • Ensure timely renewal of all relevant work pass
  • Ensure timely issuance and cancellation of all relevant work pass
  • Act as expert and advise on work pass topics

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Tertiary education and above in any discipline preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • At least 3 years of working knowledge in Human Resource disciplines; with preferably a previous experience in payroll operations, government claims administration, knowledge in tax and social contributions topics
  • A good operational experience within fast pace and complex multinational environment
  • A good understanding of the CPF, IRAS and MOM legislations
