As part of the Flight Operations Compliance Monitoring Audit Team, the job is primarily responsible for the planning, preparation and conduct of audits and inspections to evaluate and report cabin inflight compliance and training activities with regulatory requirements such as GCAA, IOSA and Safety, Security and Standard operating procedures.
Job Outline:
- Audit and evaluate Cabin in flight and training service activities for compliance against the relevant regulations standards and report on each flight monitored using the Compliance Monitoring system.
- Raise findings for any non-conformance identified during the monitoring function and issue to the appropriate business manager for action.
- Review all closure actions relating to findings raised to ensure that the root cause has been established and robust and effective corrective and preventative measures have been put in place.
- Review all findings identified during the compliance monitoring function and report adverse trends and areas of risk to the Manager Compliance Monitoring Flight Operations and the relevant department management team.
- In conjunction with the Manager Compliance Monitoring Flight Operations manage a schedule of audits covering all fleet types and cabin SEP training activities.
- When required liaise with regulatory bodies on matter of compliance monitoring and regulatory oversight.
- Administration and data input to the Compliance Monitoring IT System (IQSMS).
- Provide support and advice to the Cabin Services Department, if required, on regulatory compliance and audit functions.
- Assist with the review of regulatory and procedural changes relating to the cabin service activities to ensure that audit checklists and reports are in line with the latest requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
Flight Operations.Other : 5+ Years
Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) :
Knowledge/Skills: - Certified Quality Auditor with excellent understanding of Quality Management Systems. - Experience in an auditing or inspection role within the aviation industry an asset. - Prior experience as a cabin crew purser - Comprehensive knowledge of Regulations and standards, e.g. GCAA CARs, IOSA, ISO, specifications an asset. - Advanced abilities with MS office, word, excel, PowerPoint and use of statistical analysis tools Safety Sensitive Role: No Leadership Role: No
