Job overview and responsibilities
Responsible for managing repairs orders for aircraft components in support of mainline aircraft maintenance. Continuously monitors supplier performance with respect to contractual metrics, including turn-time, quality, and cost. Manages repair order release, repair activity, and invoice processing. Serves as the primary vendor-facing contact with repair agencies. Ensures that component repairs are performed in accordance with appropriate work scope, and all supporting documentation is prepared in accordance with UAL and FAA requirements. Serves as subject-matter expert to support warranty and remedy claims, project planning, and repair bid process. Maintains current knowledge on regulatory, policy, and industry issues that may impact supplier systems and operations
