The Contracts Engineer is responsible for managing the Contract Administration process efficiently and effectively, ensuring quality, clarity and consistency of contractual set-up, and supervision of all procurement activities within the program. The main responsibilities include reviewing, recommending revisions to and approving all required contractual documentation. The Contracts Engineer reviews contractual terms and conditions to ensure compliance with prescribed procurement requirements and conducts fee negotiations, and drafts and revises policies and operating guidelines as necessary. The Contract engineer will have experience and achievement in the management and review of the contractual aspects of engineering and construction projects (with preferred experience on aviation projects) and evidence of successful negotiations of substantial claims and variations.
Duties And Responsibilities
All aspects of contractual management to ensure all contractual provisions related to the assigned project(s) are followed, monitored and closed out. The Contract Administrator will work with the design team, contractors, engineering, procurement and legal counterparties to oversee the work progress and compliance with all contractual commitments.
