Job Description

OVERVIEW

To report aircraft status and gather information on aircrafts in an assigned base in order to determine the accurate date the aircraft can be repaired.

Will also be responsible for:

1. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.

2. Update daily and weekend/ holiday duty roster contact list to ensure it is up to date and provided to Base Management.

3. Establish, publish and maintain GAL digital radio call signs.

4. Format flying schedule displays to show individual aircraft scheduled for flight on a daily basis and ensure all deviations to the daily flying schedule are reviewed and reported accurately in order to inform impacted activities of changes in priorities, plans and schedules.

5. Maintain visual aids, electronic and manual, to show aircraft status both off and on station.

6. Establish priorities for completing limited resources such as fuel, wash rack and GSE and monitor status.

7. Collate aircraft daily state data in order to be able to provide customer with daily state reports, as well as report any accidents/ incidents to Base Management.

8. Coordinate with the Supply Chain department to expedite aircraft on ground (AOG).

9. Coordinate on changes to flying schedules with the applicable agencies in order to minimise disruptions to operational plans and flying schedules.

10. Update the system database daily for mission capability, flight schedule, flight workbench and counter cascade in order to inform upper management and Base Management on the Key Performance Indicators’ (KPIs) updates.

11. Provide KPIs through the system for the WTR, PMT and PMR, and validate these KPIs with the customers on daily and monthly basis to keep the scorecard updated and approved on a timely manner.

12. Act as a point of contact to request external support services, such as firefighting, aircraft water, fueling and defueling, engineering support, ATC clearance for ground movement, etc.

13. Provide base management with updated monthly scheduled maintenance inspection forecast for each platform.

14. Collect and document any accidents/ incidents reports to send and inform base management for action.

15. Provide base management with periodic reports such as weekly status on ground support equipment and base spare engine, as well as base weekend maintenance reports in order to keep them informed in a timely manner.

16. Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

17. Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

18. Follow standard Emergency Response Checklists and reports occurrences to upper management for prompt action.

19. Perform other related duties or assignments as directed by the line manager.

- Diploma in Aviation or Technical High school or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

- 1 to 3 years’ experience in aviation or any technical function.
