Job Description

Planning efficient and compliant Pilot and Cabin Crew Roster within the regulations of the GCAA, company policies and guidelines. Meeting all Flight Operations objectives to legally cover all sectors in the network operation with qualified crew

Accountabilities

• Administer roster optimisation, utilizing strategic approaches to achieve efficient, cost effective and fatigue risk managed roster for Pilot and Cabin crew while respecting the complexities of the GCAA rules and regulations.
• During roster optimization review Pilot and Cabin Crew roster fairness, productivity targets and operational robustness whilst balancing crew satisfaction, minimizing operational costs and maximizing crew efficiencies.
• Analyse multiple optimised roster solutions; against departmental KPI’s while making recommendations to line manager on ideal roster solutions.
• Assignment of roster pre-assignments in an optimal manner (excluding training) in crew tracking system in preparation for the monthly roster optimization.
• Provide feedback to Pilots and Cabin crew on roster stability and roster satisfaction.
• Working knowledge with crew pairings and network schedules.
• Performs roster optimization in accordance with civil aviation regulations and Company requirements ensuring all are adhered to.
• Produce optimal crew solutions ensuring full flight and operational duty requirements are fulfilled; communicating to the Management of any impending crewing issues with suggested solutions.
• Working with company operating manuals and internal procedures having sound knowledge of each to perform duties in line with requirement.
• Management of crew leave allocation both annually and Adhoc basis.
• Working along with internal and external departments including manpower planning, training planning, crew performance using clear and effective communication of roster outcomes

Education & Experience

• Post-secondary education (i.e. diploma, degree and/or courses in related fields or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in relevant Airline crew scheduling/planning; with relevant systems experience.
• Crew system experience specifically with AIMs and JCR (Jeppesen Crew Rostering) desired. 
• Strong written and oral communication skills when interacting with internal and external departments and crew community.
