Job Description

  • Manages a team of Revenue management by motivating and facilitating them to achieve the optimum results in highly competitive framework to support corporate goals.
  • Formulate Strategy and decide Revenue budgets , set and track performance of the revenue management team through defined KPIs at route and flight levels to ensure network maximization objective is fulfilled to ensure deviation from network revenue targets are minimized.
  • Liaise with senior management in Sales and Network planning departments to identify and capitalize on potential revenue generation opportunities through capacity alignment, price actions and appropriate inventory controls.
  • Implement optimization methodologies and business rules and logic in automated manner with effective alignment of forecast and optimization methodology across specific at both O&D and legs level with best of operational research techniques. Achieve forecast accuracy and minimum deviation from operating plans.
  • Responsible for taking Pricing decisions to support the overall company strategy in Revenue Management.
  • Optimize inventory mix at both O&D and leg level to facilitate right mix of products being sold.
  • Development of strict controls framework in ensuring revenue integrity and logical explanation for each pricing and inventory change action.
  • Set objectives and track group materialization and required group request service levels through improved group tracking processes and systems.
  • Develops revenue plans to ensure achievement of budgeted results.
  • Ensures competitiveness in the market place at all times by monitoring competitors' pricing activities/market trends and optimize revenue.
  • Forecasts, trend analysis and inventory control. Leverages the use of available systems and reports tools for efficient flight monitoring and inventory control.
  • Budgets and financial planning.
  • Timely opening of schedules and flights. Establishing pricing policies and profiles and procedures for new products and routes.
  • Develops appropriate controls, tools and methods for analyzing and maintaining details for inventory control, sales, group bookings, pricing, route analysis, loads, competitor analysis etc.
  • Supports in route planning and scheduling.
  • Analysis of factors that contribute to revenues, profits, costs, competitive positioning, and market opportunities.
  • Analyzes Breakup of channels and agents and coordinating closely with the sales team for pushing certain sectors.
  • Development of MIS and internal controls
