Job Description

He/She reports to the Manager Production within the EASA Part 21G Production Organisation. He/She is responsible for Production Planning activities, including but not limited to incoming applicable design data review, DO-PO arrangement, POA Capability development, Job Card preparation and staging, provisioning of material, POA financials monitoring, handling of Concessions and Production queries, on-time completion of tasks, operational Production support and Quality/Authority audit. The job holder is responsible for calculating stock levels of the POA products and adjusting reorder levels, evaluating results and ensuring accuracy of adopted planning methods, forecasting and planning, ensuring resource availability for production runs in accordance with aircraft maintenance inputs and external customer orders.

Accountabilities

• Ensure that EYEng's procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out Production. Ensure procedures for issuing of EYEng EASA Form 1 for the completed parts are followed in compliance with Part 21G regulation for new parts/prototype parts or test samples.
• Ensure all POA RFQ/RFQ are responded in timely manners. This includes but not limited to DOA related activities as well. 
• Review, ensure completeness of all incoming Design Data. Verify arrangement with Design Offices and Subcontractors are in place and verify the Part Numbers against the Production Organisation’s Capability List.
• Handle Concessions and Production queries, ensuring on-time completion of queries, closure and verification of Production Requests, provide operational Production support.
• Monitor and raise Purchase Request for all non-stock purchase related to POA activities. Ensure all POA related financials are monitored and to compile monthly report to DEI management.
• Responsible to ensure the appropriate maintenance are carried out on all machines operated by POA. 
• Review workpacks, provision Material, Documentation and Production Means (tools and machinery). Provide guidance to staging, prioritization of Production jobs and release jobs accordingly through the system.
• Release requisitions for procurement to provision raw material. Review material documentation and records, manage and maintain shelf-life consumable materials and correct storage. Effectively manage stock replenishment levels for expendables & consumables.
• Proactively involve in Audit, Quality, Safety and Health matters.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics Engineering or ICAO Part 66 B1/B2 License holder.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Engineer in an EASA/NAA Part 145 organization (equivalent FAA experience is acceptable) or TC holder or at a DOA and POA with similar scope to EYEng.
• Strong background and skills in aircraft repairs, production, modification, retrofit development, trouble shooting and AOG support. Strong negotiation and presentation skills, planning and budget management experience, strong interpersonal skills and social competence, team player, self-starter, creative and innovative, decisive and firm, analytical and modelling intelligence, business intelligence and high willingness to take over responsibility is required.
• Language skills: English fluently in speaking and writing.
