Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Research, Design and Develop complete electrical propulsion system for an all electric aircraft.
• Develop electrical systems requirements and perform electrical components and subsystems selection including motor, battery packs, avionics etc.
• Design Battery Pack Systems to meet aircraft flight requirements.
• Integrate avionics, power electronics, software and control systems for the aircraft working closely with the responsible teams.
• Design with consideration to certification program, best practices, norms, and standards.
• Work and communicate with suppliers and provide sufficient technical inputs for vendors selection and to select suitable electrical system components.
• Be the primary contact for the technical requirements for the electrical systems. Review supplier deliverables for technical consistency and adherence to aerospace and certification requirements.
• Support the validation and verification plans execution for DO-178, DO-254, and FAA regulatory compliance
• Support planning for and execution of subsystem and vehicle-level integration and test campaign
• Collaborate with Design and Analysis teams to design support structures and wiring planning for the
• Develop and maintain Interface Control Documents for the electrical and electronics systems.

Preferred skills and experience:

• Aerospace/Electrical or related engineering graduate with minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience.
• Systems engineering, familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering and/or proficient developing models
• Knowledge and understanding of the requirements and methods for showing compliance to 14 CFR 23.1309
• Previous experience in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle propulsion system is an advantage.
• Strong fundamental understanding and knowledge on the aircraft Avionics subsystems
• Strong basic understanding of electrical and systems engineering.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
• Knowledge in Wiring and Harness design in Catia V5
• Critical thinking and Problem Solving Skills.
