    • In this position, the incumbent is responsible for successful execution of Aerospace Hydraulics products design & development projects while driving continuous improvement to fulfil project KPIs and ensure Customer satisfaction.
    • He/She should have experience in New Product Development (NPD) programs preferably in Aerospace industry.
    • The working knowhow of overall design engineering processes & product lifecycle of 'Aerospace and/or Industrial Hydraulics Products' broadly classified under Hydro-Mechanical & Electro-Mechanical products viz. Actuators, Valves, Pumps is a requisite .
    • He/She should have proficiency in managing customer requirements, concept design/selection, risk management, detail design and analysis & design validation - product testing and qualification to enable decision making while executing the engineering work. He/she should have proficiency in mechanical design & drafting (CAD tools), GD&T & statistical tolerancing.
    • He/She should have proficiency in preparing and managing schedule, NRE (Non recurring engineering estimates); good communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written with an ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and global stakeholders. Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) GB certification is necessary for internal candidates. DFSS methodology experience is preferred for external candidates
    • Drive and execute New Product Design and Development through Eaton PROLaunch / PreLaunch/ACES Engineering processes
    • Create Product Concepts & Architecture ideas and demonstrate
    • Good at STEM - Science Technilogy Engineering Mathematics basics for demonstrating feasibility of designs through relevant Engineering calculations/predictions
    • Handle CAD & Analytical Tools (CATIA, CREO, AutoCAD, MathCAD, Matlab/Simulink, CfX etc.)
    • Has proficiency with Limits, Fits & Tolerencing, GD&T
    • Know how of Digital tools and capabilities including but not limited to - Python Programming, Advance Excel, PowerBI, VB etc.
    • Apply Robust design methodologies for decision making - DFSS, LEAN, DMAIC
    • Handle RFI/RFP/RFQ process by providing engineering inputs to customer enquiries, creating solutions and estimating materials, testing costs and Engineering NRE
    • Know how of Aerospace Product Testing and Qualification - DO160 and Failure investigation,FRACA (RCA, FTA, 8D)
    • Provide visible technical leadership to guide,coach team/members.
    • Use technical tools and methods and is recognized/sought out for technical expertise - as well as proficiency in advanced problem-solving techniques. (Ex.: Teach "How" to use the core tools, endorsing best practices.)
    • Communicate effectively globally and at all organizational levels.
    • Demonstrate leadership in a professional society and/or published technical work through professional or trade media.
    • Manage effective customer communications. Improve organization responsiveness to customer requirements. Communication & manage customer expectations and contractual commitments internal to the business.

Requirement
    • Graduate/ Post Graduate bachelor’s in engineering (Hydro-Mechanical & Electro-Mechnical Domain)
    • Master's degree - 1-2 years or Bachelor's degree - 3 to 5 years experience,
    • Min 2 years of Product Engineering for Hydraulics, Hydro-Mechnical, Electro-Mechanical design, development and validation
    • Project Engineering, processes and tools,
