We are seeking a Lubrication and TMS Engineer to work at our India Engineering Center campus in Bengaluru, India. The successful candidate will join the Mechanical Systems, Externals and Nacelles (MSEN) team to provide production and field support for our operational commercial engine components. This includes bearing compartments hardware, and engine lubrication system plumbing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing system models for steady-state and transient fluid flow and heat transfer analyses using Dymola, MATLAB Simulink and Easy 5.
  • Supporting system level coordination of requirements and interfacing with other analysis groups (e.g., CFD/Heat Transfer, Engine Performance, Ventilation, Controls), component/system owners, and customers.
  • Specifying engine validation test plans, reviewing engine and test rig data, and summarizing results in test reports.
  • Validation test coverage (both engine and rig) consisting of live monitoring of instrumentation response relative to applicable limits, post processing test data, and evaluation of test data relative to program requirements.
  • Supporting requirements management and allocation and defining performance requirements for system components.
  • Summarizing system status to requirements for presentation at design reviews.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace or Systems Engineering
  • 2+ years of prior relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of internal flow modeling
  • Experience in system-level analysis tools (e.g., Dymola, MATLAB, Simulink, Easy5), including experience developing robust component models
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
