The job involves working closely with the reporting manager to ensure that functions handled by Contracts and project team are executed in seamless manner keeping cost and timeline in consideration.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for Engineering Projects/Logistics/Planning etc. for Induction, Lease return including the definition of SCN/MSCN for new a/c induction
Coordinate with Lessors and facilitate mid-term or annual audits or lessor inspections and visits
Coordinate with Lessors, suppliers, shops, and OEMs on different aspects of the contract
Coordinate with departments like Product team, Cabin Safety, etc. for selection of the product
Coordinate with TSAL Legal, Corporate Planning, and Finance department for evaluations of the contract and finalization
Coordinate with Engineering Planning team for monitoring of base checks, lease return checks
Coordinate with maintenance for pre-induction aircraft survey
Coordination with technical records, powerplant, and modification team for the readiness of the ‘’delivery bible’’ for lease return
Responsible for the readiness of the technical records for lease return of the aircraft
Coordinate with on-site representatives during the lease return process for a smooth return
Coordinate with Procurement for the availability of spares, materials, modification kits for lease return
Evaluating material costs and budgetary control
Coordinate with departments like Technical Services, Procurement, MRO, and Stores for aircraft modifications to be performed in-house
Coordinate with TSAL Finance for timely payments within the contract terms to spares support suppliers and engine shops
Coordinate with TSAL Finance for any contracted vendor/OEM payment-related dispute and its resolution
Preparation of Management reports and yearly status reports for the lessor as per contract
Keep abreast of developments in the aerospace industry
Any other responsibility as assigned from time to time
Skills & Attributes
Sound knowledge of MS Office Application is a must
Knowledge of Aircraft technical publications i.e., AMM, IPC, SRM etc.
Knowledge of various ERP are being used in Vistara Engineering functions i.e., AMOS, AMASIS
Work Experience
Minimum 5 years total working experience in airlines. Working experience in the Technical Services/Engineering Projects preferred
Qualification
Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Aeronautical engineering or 3 years DGCA approved AME course
