Job Description

The holder of this position will be responsible for Planning training recencies and currencies of all pilots across simulator and line training.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning of simulator schedule from covering the regulatory training and checks, Type/ Non-type trainings and upgrades
• Planning DE, TRI and the LTC standardizations
• Planning special qualification trainings
• Planning all the trainings associated to line recency, Type/ Non-Type trainings and command upgrades
• Monitoring the day-to-day Simulator training and line training
• Checking violation of every crew member planned for Simulator training and line training
• Checking their required qualifications whether they are qualified for specific Simulator training and line training
• Communicating with trainers with regards to their Simulator plan or Flight plan
• Revising the Simulator plan or flight if any changes required
• Informing the crew about the changes in their Simulator or flight schedule telephonically and via email

• Releasing the Simulator schedule to the trainers and trainees on a daily basis
• Planning line training and monitoring daily ops
• Maintaining and updating of trackers prepared for trainees and trainers
• Planning and monitoring of Standardization checks for trainer
• Liaising with Airbus and FSTC in respect to the revised slots and reconciliation of simulator hours with Airbus and FSTC
• Coordinating with rostering in regard to changes in pilots’ roster
• Planning the recency training for pilots once cleared for training as per the requirement
• Referring Company Manuals for the processes
• Replying of emails withing 24 to 48 Hrs. to crew

Skill/Attributes

• Good level of proficiency in spoken and written English
• Good Team Player
• Strong IT skills including MS Office applications

Work Experience

• 1 to 2 years’ experience in Training planning/ scheduling of Cockpit Crew preferred

Qualification

• Graduate from a recognized university
