Boeing India Engineering seeks an Experienced Electronics Design and Analysis Engineer to support multiple product lines in commercial and defense electronics development. This position is located in Bangalore, Karnataka.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead activities to create hardware designs for complex component/system level products
  • This position has responsibilities in the areas of the following: Embedded Firmware Design, Circuit Design, Schematic Capture, Board Layout & Circuit Simulation
  • Lead work to develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements
  • Lead analysis and translation of complex architectures into hardware design and interface specifications
  • Lead testing and validation work on complex hardware designs to assure that operational and functional requirements are met
  • Work with others to develop program test strategies
  • Manage performance of critical suppliers to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements, enable make buy decisions. Create SOW packages for suppliers
  • Lead design with safety and reliability as prime objectives.
  • Conduct program independent reviews and reports results to program leadership
  • Provide critical support of fielded hardware over the entire product lifecycle
  • Deliver PDR, CDR and SRR for component/system level hardware
  • Provide inputs on reuse and optimization of target hardware
  • Hardware Integration over a moving vehicle platform structure

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor's in engineering degree or higher
  • Experience in creating hardware designs for systems and products, from architecture
  • Experience leading engineering designs for complex system involving large power distribution, large payloads and servo mechanisms
  • Experience in Design architecture for components and Sub Components
  • Experience as a design architect to contribute towards safety and reliability design and analysis requirements
  • Experience in power distribution for satellites and large moving platforms
  • Experience in creating radiation hardened micro circuit packages
  • Experience in Battery Management systems and power traction component selections for large vehicular systems
  • Experience in power conversion mechanisms and its distribution, its architecture and te
  • Experience with electromechanical packaging (thermal analysis, vibration analysis, component fatigue, shock analysis, high voltage electronic packaging)
  • Experience with Manufacturing of Electronic Assemblies (manufacturing readiness assessments, Rapid Prototyping, dfmat, electronics manufacturing)
  • Ability to create hardware software partitioning and validate requirements to integrate functional requirements/testing

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Possesses hardware qualification and certification experience
  • Experience managing component/system level-electronics design and development
  • Experience in developing and deploying affordability capabilities and methods for both recurring and nonrecurring cost reduction
  • Experience in integrating component/system level requirements into a complex platform or system
  • Knowledgeable in both MIL and FAA type certifications
  • Experience and development and certification to DO-160, DO-254, MIL-STD 810
  • Experience in Space and satellite related propulsion systems
  • Experience in PCB design & PCB assembly verification, debug, repair
  • Experience in FPGA & CPLD design implementation for custom designed boards
  • Ability to deliver complex electronics hardware and silicon component roadmaps for electric power & distribution application
  • Experience in interfacing electric power & distribution communication protocols and working with software and systems to allocate architecture and functional needs
  • Thorough knowledge upon APQP and its process implementations at design and supplier

Typical Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 8 to 11 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+7 years of related work experience).
