Position Overview:

Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center FP&A team is currently looking for an Experienced FP&A to join their team in Bangalore, India. This team seeks a highly-skilled and motivated individual.

This is an individual contributor position in a growing global organization. The individual will partner with internal collaborators and external suppliers to expand our service delivery model while ensuring service delivery excellence to all business partners.

The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. They must be flexible to accommodate business requirements that span multiple time zones and may require travel, having international experience working with diverse organizations and cultures will be an added advantage. The ability to multi task & deliver within timelines is important. Practical knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of tools, Cognos and an understanding of Earned Value Management is preferred. Special projects/assignments and support of Enterprise may also be required in this position. The candidate also will have strong communications skills & finance competence. They must be able to maintain positive relationships with leadership and all levels of the organization.

Position Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • interact and partner with U.S. based BU community to support finance activities, such as supporting, maintaining and updating budgets and forecasts, supporting opportunities and risks analysis, and providing performance reporting and variance analysis.
  • initiate operational improvements per Global practices to improve the success of working together model.
  • development of overhead budgets, allocation of budgets, performance reporting, forecasting, development of rate forecasts
  • conducting studies to assess cost impacts relative to proposed organizational and accounting changes, labor discrepancy disposition, controlling charge account authorizations
  • prepare monthly financial analysis covering monthly performance, variance with budget, near term & long term outlook.
  • present the monthly business review to the India Leadership & to the Business partners.
  • prepare monthly dashboards for assigned business unit & support with various data requirements.
  • develop & maintain effective relationships through engagements with business partners & cross functional teams at al levels of the enterprise
  • identify, initiate & own the process automation for manual business processes
  • work closely with the accounting team to coordinate accounting change implementation, accruals, identification & impact analysis of key events or transactions having financial impact.
  • be part & help encouraging the continuous improvement culture of India finance.
  • develop & mentor finance team mates.

This role will provide critical reporting and analysis for Global Finance support, overhead and labor rate analysis, while partnering with Boeing’s Global finance teams to maintain and improve processes. The role will also support senior leadership in the development of strategic plans and case development.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+7 years' related work experience.)
