Enterprise Architecture, Standards and Delivery is currently looking for Product Specialist – Performance & Scalability to join their teams in Bengaluru, IN. The positions will focus on supporting the Boeing Information Technology & Data Analytics organization.

The Product Management Specialist performs activities to identify and pursue market opportunities for Information Technology products. Gathers data on customer needs to identify product opportunities. Assists with business cases. Writes business and functional requirements for product improvements based on customer requests. Gathers materials for product demonstrations. Gathers data related to financial targets.

A successful candidate will need to have excellence team work skills, agile product management knowledge, and ability to work in cross-functional teams.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the conduit for effectively channeling the statement of work from external departments to teams responsible for project execution.
  • Responsible for successful execution of change control for work by effectively coordinating with internal and external customers, Business Units, and resource managers.
  • Prioritizes features and ensure each feature has clearly defined benefits to the customer and/or the organisation before it can be picked up by one of the agile teams.
  • Evaluate cross functional business processes, core capabilities and strategic initiatives.
  • Fosters honest and transparent communication with stakeholders.
  • Establishes partnerships and relationships with internal and external customers, stakeholders, peers to ensure results are achieved.
  • Effectively, professionally and proactively communicates with peers, customers, staff and suppliers regarding Portfolio plans, resource plans, and operational performance.
  • Executes on tactical plans and collects relevant appropriate metrics that helps leaders make good decisions.
  • Develops the technical approach, processes and metrics used to execute on program/projects/processes.
  • Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Planning activities to mitigate the key performance risks.
  • Drive the testing of NFR's by coordinating the efforts across different teams that continuously develop and deploy software.
  • Develop a Performance Architecture Management Plan and through the development of the plan, identify performance improvements.
  • Identify and document workflow redundancy, processes and functions that fail to meet existing business needs, data dispersion shortfalls and gap between current process efficiency and efficiency goals.
  • Overall responsibility of Performance Engineering and Performance Testing Tasks for engaged projects - including strategy, estimation, planning, execution oversight, metrics reporting and risk management.
  • Identify root cause issues and contribute to product code to alleviate these issues
  • Optimize sizing of deployed component instances for cost optimization
  • Support extended teams in troubleshooting problems.
  • Provide feedback, propose solutions and suggest improvements in the product
  • You will partner with other performance engineers and developers to develop best practices.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 4+ years of experience in a product management specialist area or related field
  • Excellence written and verbal communication skills
  • Agile software development knowledge
  • Knowledge of DevOps Industry standards and practices
  • 5+ years minimum performance testing experiences with Micro Focus LRE (formerly Performance Center), Micro Focus LoadRunner/VuGen or other performance testing tools.
  • Knowledge of performance test design, test execution, test result analysis, and generating final report
  • Experience developing test script using HTTP/HTML, TruClient, and Citrix protocols
  • Experience working with one or more databases, e.g. MS. SQL Server, Oracle

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching excellence products
  • Experience using or metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6+ or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 6 years' related work experience, etc.).
