Boeing Commercial Airplanes & Boeing Global Services are looking for Experiencedl Product Review Engineer (Service Engineer) to join our team in Bangalore, India.

Our team of engineers support over 14,000 aircrafts around the globe, and work closely with our customers to ensure that their fleet is operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. Join us today and help shape the future of commercial aviation.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies knowledge of Boeing design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle.
  • Analyzes, conducts root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design non-conformances.
  • Applies engineering principles to research technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions.
  • Identifies documents, analyzes reported problems and communicates deviations that could impact design intent and safety; recommends and manages resolution.
  • Develops and implements product/process improvements.
  • Supports Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participates in design reviews.
  • Represents the engineering community in the build through post production environment.
  • Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
  • Develops non-destructive test procedures, tools and standards. Conducts simple static strength analysis.
  • Willing to support a 24/7 on-call rotation schedule and the ability to work variable shifts, including weekends or overtime.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor, Master) and typically 9 to 13 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+ 8 to 12 years' related work experience etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 8 or more years of experience in structures engineering.
  • Experience supporting end users in a customer service role.
  • Experience working with MRB (Material Review Board) activities related to aircraft structures.
  • Experience working transport category airplane certification or production/fleet support projects involving FAA approval.
