You will be responsible to manage the in-house maintenance team to deliver a 5-star facility management service for all facilities, buildings and assets at Doha International Airport (DIA) including but not limited to terminal buildings, Cargo, Catering, Fire Station and aircraft maintenance hangars.
You will ensure the in-house maintenance team and their activities are in compliance with the HIA asset management framework.
You will ensure operational readiness of DIA Facilities for the 2022 FIFA world cup is achieved, by driving in house maintenance team productivity and maintenance excellence to ensure the highest level of maintenance and quality standards is delivered.
You will manage the successful completion of all in house delivered planned maintenance activities on all assets across DIA under the scope of HIA FM, by regularly monitoring the maintenance delivery performance of the in house maintenance teams through effective data analysis from Oracle Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
You will co-ordinate directly with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a maintenance access strategy, which facilitates the in house DIA maintenance team in performing preventive maintenance activities with minimal impact on operations.
You will contribute to the preparation of the annual maintenance budget for DIA and managing expenditure against this for in house DIA maintenance items, by participating in regular budget reviews identifying variance against forecast and implementing containment actions.
You will oversee the testing and commissioning of any new equipment including modifications to the appropriate software configuration of control systems, by validating these changes against the technical design requirements, to ensure compliance to the specifications and operational requirements including any statutory requirements governed by the State of Qatar.
You will support the development and implementation of the required Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) covering the activities actioned by the in house DIA maintenance teams, by liaising with the appropriate departments and ensuring the required output is achieved, to standardize all business as usual, emergency and continuity processes.
Relevant College or University qualification to minimum Bachelor’s level
Minimum 7 years relevant experience
Experience in leading a team of supervisors and workers
Excellent theoretical, practical and technical knowledge of Electrical Systems and Mechanical Systems
Knowledge of international standards and safety rules.
