Job Description

Perform fatigue analysis, damage tolerance analysis, dossier/technical documentation, etc.

Review technical presentations, interpret the results and present the same to Customer

Expertise in dealing with Sizing and Technical Discipline reviews

Responsible for ensuring 100% quality and on-time delivery

Conduct project review meetings to share the lessons learned and best practices to the team to improve the quality

Responsible for providing alternative solutions on field/production issues

Responsible for  process improvements by developing Automation tools

Work on complex CAE problems to assist product development

Prepare Technical proposals and Business cases for new process improvement areas

Perform Design Modifications as per need and validating the same with FEA, F&DT

Demonstrate Excellent Technical, Project Management, Interpersonal and Problem solving skills

Qualification: Bachelor or Masters in Mechanical Engineering degree

Work Experience and Essential Skills:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant Aero Engineering experience.

Expertise in various structural fatigue and damage analysis methodology and commercial tools

Should be able to build/update FE Models in tools like HyperMesh, ANSYS, etc

Knowledge in stress concentration, stress intensity, fatigue properties of material

Damage tolerance analysis to estimate fracture life/threshold

Knowledge in residual strength analysis, critical crack length

Crack growth analysis, inspection methods, inspection intervals

Experience in dossier/technical documentation to show compliance with the applicable certification requirements

Experience in scripting using Matlab, VB,TCL/Tk, Python is an added advantage

Knowledge of Hand Calculations, Standards and Design codes is an added advantage

Basic Knowledge of CAD tools is an added advantage

Skills & Requirements:

Working experience in Aerospace domain

Generation of Technical and Project management reports.

Knowledge & thorough understanding of various functions/department activities.
