Job Description


Process issuance/renewal of various types of licenses for Flight Deck crew of all fleets through QCAA in a timely manner, ensuring there is no impact in the crew rosters due to non-availability of licenses. The role includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Follow up with the Pilots to ensure documents are submitted in a timely manner in order to avoid any delay in processing of applications to QCAA.
  • Process applications for the new joiners, renewal, additional rating, command upgrade, loss of license, ATPL conversions, MPL cadets, change of personal details in license and submit to QCAA ensuring the documents are submitted in a timely manner. Ensure that crew membership card is requested from QCAA for all new joiners.

Liaise with the respective Fleet Training Managers to complete all the licensing documents prior to forwarding to QCAA for their approval.

  • Upon receipt of English Level Proficiency results, contact the Pilots for submission of documents for renewal through QCAA.
  • Track medical certificate for Pilots in order to ensure it is valid and current. Ensure that copies of QCAA Licenses/Medical and endorsed English level in the Certificate of test card is provided to the internal teams to update records in AIMS and EDOCS.

About You

Essential

  • Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification

Previous Experience:

Essential

  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience

Preferred

  • Airline experience in Flight Operations in the administrative, operational and training areas.

Job Specific Skills:

Essential

  • Well conversant with MS packages, proficient in internet/e-mail/AIMS operations
  • Able to work independently and produce training reports in the system
  • Ability to understand and interpret legality, accurately and with minimal management input

Preferred

Knowledge of QCAR-OPS, QCAR-FCL EASA and Company training requirements.
