About the role:
As a Flight Data Management Officer, you will be responsible for helping us achieve this ambition through:
Maintenance of the Flight schedules in the Airport Operations Database, the raw data in the Reporting software database as well as for the production and creation of reports on a regular and ad-hoc basis. As such, the Flight Data Management Officer, has to monitor all the flight schedule updates and perform the necessary adjustments to the seasonal flight schedule and ensure the availability of accurate and timely distribution of key Airport Traffic Data for the airport community.
Monitors external and internal schedule information and updates maintains integrity of the flight schedule in the existing Airport Operations Systems.
Support in the administration of slot clearances in conjunction with the Slot Coordination team.
Ensure Codeshare information are up to date in the Airport Operations Systems on a day to day and seasonal basis.
Collaborating with internal and externa stakeholders’ imports and maintains the Seasonal Schedule information in the Airport's Operational Database.
Collaborating with external and internal stakeholders maintains the "Basic Data" in the Airport Operational.
Database (aircraft type, aircraft registration, airlines, airports, stands, gates, counters etc.).
Monitors and analyses Operational reports from interfacing departments to ensure that flights schedule integrity and allocation plan utilization achieve minimal changes.
Reconciles information among various sources, maintains and updates the post flight data records in the statistics/reporting software’s database Airport’s key traffic information i.e. Passenger, Cargo, Movements and Operational Performance Metrics.
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure schedule accuracy and operational data integrity during system outages.
Develop into a subject matter expert within the Flight Scheduling team.
Produces and maintains reports regarding aircraft, cargo & passenger traffic, operational delays, utilization of resources etc. and statistics on a regular and ad-hoc request basis.
Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
Qualifications
About you:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience.
At least 3 years considerable experience in a comparative function capacity within the aviation industry (aerodrome operations, Ground Handling or airline environment).
Must have relevant experience in Flight and Airport Traffic Data Management.
Having a clear understanding of airport operations and having experience in reading and understanding ICAO Annexes, NOTAM information and AIP publication.
Experience of managing relationships with airport stakeholders.
Experience in managing the implementation of hard resource management concepts Preferred
Working knowledge airport key traffic indicators and operational data management.
Working knowledge of IATA and ICAO communication standards i.e. AFTN, IATA AHM Communications/ IATA SSIM, or other relevant.
Working experience in the operating IATA, ICAO codes and standards along with other reference information.
Having a working knowledge with MS Office and MS Power Bl.
Working knowledge of relevant IATA scheduling and ICAO operational guidelines.
Working knowledge of airport operations and safety regulations and procedures.
Good understanding of airside layout and operating principles.
Working knowledge of aircraft types and physical aspects.
Experience on raw data analysis using SQL.
